Ryan Craig has spent over a decade providing counsel to senior government leaders on matters of public policy in the Governments of Manitoba and Ontario and at the City of Winnipeg. He served as a senior advisor and chief of staff to five provincial cabinet ministers in portfolios including labour, finance, urban affairs, education and culture & citizenship and was director of communications for then Premier of Ontario, Mike Harris. His final three years in public service were spent as chief of staff and director of economic development for Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz.

After managing Mayor Katz’s successful re-election campaign in 2006, Ryan established Craig Government Solutions (C.G.S), a management consulting firm specializing in resolving complex government related issues for national and international corporate clients.

Ryan has always taken an active role in the betterment of his community volunteering with a variety of not-for-profit organizations and causes. He served as a director on the boards of CentreVenture Development Corporation and Destination Winnipeg, as a commissioner on the Mayor’s Red Tape Commission and was on the 2006 Grey Cup Organizing Committee.
