He was appointed to the Board in December 2008, a nominee of the City of Winnipeg. Currently, Dr. Mauro also serves as Chair of the Winnipeg Airports Authority Board of Directors.

Ryan Craig has spent over a decade providing counsel to senior government leaders on matters of public policy in the Governments of Manitoba and Ontario and at the City of Winnipeg. He served as a senior advisor and chief of staff to five provincial cabinet ministers in portfolios including labour, finance, urban affairs, education and culture & citizenship and was director of communications for then Premier of Ontario, Mike Harris. His final three years in public service were spent as chief of staff and director of economic development for Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz.

He obtained his Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in chemical engineering from McGill University in Montreal and completed the senior business executive program at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Mr. Kostyra concluded employment as the Secretary to the Community and Economic Development Committee of Cabinet (CEDC), Government of Manitoba, where he worked on major community and economic initiatives from January 2000 to September 2006. He reported to Premier Gary Doer and Cabinet as well he worked closely with line departments and the community to coordinate major government initiatives.

A lawyer by background, Chris Lorenc has been President of the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association since 1991. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees in 1976 and practiced law until 1991. 

He served on Winnipeg’s City Council from 1983 until he retired in 1992. He chaired a number of Council’s Standing Committees and was a member of the Executive Policy Committee (EPC).
